At Vanchit Vikas Sanstha (VVS), we are dedicated to creating a brighter future for underprivileged communities in Maharashtra, with a particular focus on women, children, and marginalized groups like the Adivasis. We achieve this by focusing on education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Child protection is one of our core areas of focus. We believe that every child deserves to live free from violence, exploitation, and abuse. That’s why we’re proud to partner with CRY (Child Rights and You), an organization dedicated to upholding children’s rights and promoting their overall well-being.
Through our partnership with CRY, we have been able to strengthen our child protection initiatives in several ways:
- Increased awareness: We’ve worked together to educate communities about child rights and the importance of child protection. This helps to create a safe and supportive environment for children.
- Improved access to resources: With CRY’s support, we’ve been able to provide essential resources to children in need, such as food, shelter, and education.
- Empowering communities: We’ve trained community members to identify and report cases of child abuse and neglect. This empowers communities to take an active role in protecting children.
- Advocacy efforts: Together, we’ve advocated for stronger child protection laws and policies at the local and state levels.
